Stephen P. Boyle, CA (46) – Stephen was born in Newcastle, England but grew up in Halifax, Canada where he attended Saint Mary’s University graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 1993 with a major in Accounting.
During his time at Saint Mary’s University he was a lettered player on the varsity soccer team and a CIAU Academic All Canadian in 1992. Upon graduating Mr. Boyle went to work for Ernst & Young where he earned his Chartered Accountancy professional designation in 1997 finishing 3rd in Atlantic Canada on the Uniform Final Examination and landing a spot on the David Hope Honour Roll. After that he was off to Los Angeles, California where he had brief stints with The Walt Disney Company and Castle & Cooke, Inc. before taking a job as Controller at Wedgewood Inc. in 1999.
At the time the company was doing $35M of sales and $1.8M of net income per year with no institutional capital and no data analysis. Mr. Boyle quickly created industry leading key performance indicators which helped the company raise hundreds of millions of dollars allowing it to grow exponentially from 1999-2006. By 2002 he was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and made a partner in the Company.
After correctly predicting the Financial Crisis and reducing the risk to Wedgewood, the Company went on another growth spurt which culminated in repeated years of ~$800M+ in sales and net income of ~$36.0M+.
In 2015 he left Wedgewood Inc. to create his own firm, The Morgan Group, which is currently doing $150M+ in sales after only two years in operation.
Stephen lives in Redondo Beach, Califonia with his wife, Lisa, and kids, Keagan, Payton and Marlena.
He is an avid soccer player, weightlifter, stock trader and enjoys yoga and meditation. Mr. Boyle supports several local charities involving sick children, special needs kids and homeless people.
